This is a circa 1956 Pauline Trigère dress done in a luscious warp silk taffeta. The entire dress is impeccably designed and very structural. The bodice is beautiful lined to perfection and has a hand set back metal zipper. The skirt is pleated all the way around and fully lined. The fabric of this dress is the same a Dior piece held within the Fine arts museum in San Francisco. This piece is in good condition but does have some wear to both the shoulder straps. These could be replaced, there’s plenty of fabric in the hem of the skirt, or perhaps it could be worn entirely without straps. There’s light under arm wear. Please review photos.
Bust: 33”-34”
Waist: 25”
Shoulder to waist seam: 15.5”
Skirt: 24.75”
Hem: 3”
