This is an exceptional 1960s evening gown entirely embellished in shimmering individually hand sewn sequins and beads. Designed in a black wool knit the sequins are gunmetal and black. This design creates a flattering, elongated silhouette. It is unlined and has a back metal zipper. It has an internal elastic waistband sewn in by hand. It also has an elegant side slit on one side at the bottom of the skirt. Overall very good condition. Sequins appear to be all intact. This dress only contains the shop label but is more than likely a Gene Shelly. One side of the shop label is untacked.
