This is a dramatic circa 1970 Mr. Blackwell Custom. This set features a floor length sleeveless gown with matching full length coat in richly textured metallic brocade woven with luminous gold medallion motifs. The gown is fully lined and has a back zipper. The coat is designed with a sculptural standing collar, concealed front snap closures, and extravagant plush brown fur trimmed cuffs. The coat is fully lined in duchess satin. This set is in good condition and presents beautifully overall, with some scattered pulls to the brocade and one very small area of wear to the fabric, some wear to lining of the coat and gown, light typical wear to the fur.
