This is a sumptuous 1960s fuchsia evening gown by Malcolm Starr. The fabric is a luxury fabric. Fabric like this now would be extremely expensive per yard. It is made from a metallic brocade woven with gold and silver florals. The original hang tags say it is made from—39% silk, 42% rayon, and 19% metallic fibers. It has a  rich, shimmering, dimensional surface that catches the light beautifully. The silhouette features a fitted bodice with narrow spaghetti straps and an empire waist that flows into a gently flared A-line skirt. This gown is fully lined and has a hand set metal back zipper. This dress is in very good condition, some not noticeable wear to the hem and underside of the hem. This is only seen if you are very closely inspecting.
