This is a fabulous 1960s floral bucket hat by Frank M. Benson Originals. Designed in a high-gloss cellophane straw base. The hat is densely adorned with oversized red silk poppies that have a hand painted ombré effect. Some of the petals are semi sheer which gives the hat depth and contrast. The centers are Pom-poms and there’s hundreds of stamens. This hat is in excellent condition. I saw one puncture mark to one petal, the size of a pin head. Light wear to the grosgrain inside band. The inside measures 21”. It will work for a 22” head, this hat is designed to perch high on your head and not meant to fall over the crown of your head.
