This is a divine off white textured silk cocktail dress by Mr. Blackwell. This bodice is beaded by hand, using sparkling rhinestones, gold bugle beads and three different colored glass seed beads. This dress is fully lined and has a back plastic zip. There's a signature tiny bow at the top of the zipper that his designs from the period have. This dress is deadstock and was never worn. It comes with its original price tag. The tag reads: Made in California 100% silk. Original price was $139.98 which in today dollars would be equivalent to $1,449.51. This dress is in wonderful condition. Some age related tarnish to the gold bugle beads. There's some small spots on the bottom skirt lining.
