1950s straw beach hat
This is a 1950s whimsical beach hat made from straw It features a tall, conical crown. The brim is wide and slightly downturned. The hat is decorated with playful embellishments: Large, colorful flowers made from raffia in shades of green, black, white, pink, and yellow, with faux pearl centers. The hat is also trimmed in different insects. Around the neck, the hat is secured with a silk scarf. This hat is in excellent condition. One wing on one insect looks slight shorter than the other. The silk scarf has damage and spots. The great part is the scarf can be swapped out for another.
