This is a delightful 1950s matching seaside three piece ensemble. Consisting of a blouse, high waisted shorts and a skirt. Each piece features hand done block printing. Originally sold at The English Shop in Barbados. As vacationing grew increasingly popular during the 1950s, outfits like this were a wardrobe must have. All three pieces are made from a blue linen and unlined. The blouse has faux tortoiseshell buttons. The skirt has a wrap over front. The shorts zip at the side. This set is in excellent condition and appears to be deadstock, it looks as if it’s never been worn.
